April 3, 2010, St. Louis Central West End, MO

Saturday, April 3, 2:00pm

FREE and open to all gardeners, urban chicken farmers and Ozark Mountain Daredevil fans!

Kirkwood resident Bill Ruppert will bring his chickens and speak about keeping chickens and gardening around them in the suburbs while Central West Ender Jeff Fister will do the same regarding raising chickens in the city. Meanwhile Michael "Supe" Granda, bass player for the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, will be on hand to perform "Chicken Train" and a few other famous tunes while Bowood's Ellen Barredo and Kathie Hoyer will talk about garden plants that survive, and thrive, next to the chicken coop.  Also both Fister, who recently authored "Counting Chickens, Raising 8 kids (and 4 hens) in the Central West End" and Supe, author of the new book "IT SHINED– The Saga of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils" will be selling and signing their books.
